1. “Pure Water, Pure Love”: An International Ministry

 This ministry by the WMU provides clean water around the world. You are encouraged to enjoy a clean, refreshing bottle of water, and then use it as a bank. Help us make a significant contribution by bringing your bottle by August 15, 2018. Learn more about this project.
 
2. “Operation Christmas Child”
This ministry by Samaritan’s Purse provides local partners with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygeine items and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Learn more about this project.
 
In May, we are focusing on these 3 items:
     Small Cars
     Nerf Footballs
     Frisbees
 
3. “Christmas Backpacks for Appalachia”
This ministry is a partnership between South Carolina WMU and Appalachian Mountain Ministry. It provides filled Christmas backpacks as a tangible expression of Christ’s love for each child and teen in some of the most impoverished areas in our country. Learn more about this project
In May, we are focusing on these 3 items:
     Small Cars
     Nerf Footballs
     Frisbees

 

4. “Migrant Ministry”
This ministry is a partnership of all Savannah River Baptist Association’s churches. It provides migrants who work the farms of St. Helena Island with health kits and opportunities to be ministered to and cared for. For April, please place the following items in a two-gallon Ziploc bag for distribution in June:
     Towel
     Washcloth
     Bar Soap
     Toothpaste
     Toothbrush
     Comb 
 
5. “Mossy Oaks Elementary School”
Collecting Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Soup labels. This is an ongoing project.
 
6. “Ronald McDonald House”
Collecting tabs from aluminum cans. This is an ongoing project. 
 
7. “Salvation Army”
Collecting Food donations every first Sunday. This is an ongoing project.
