Youth Fundraiser Lasagna Lunch
Lunch will be served Sunday, May 18th immediately following Morning Worship in the Family Life Center located behind the worship center! The menu will be homemade lasagna, salad, bread, dessert and tea. All proceeds go to defray the $259.00 per person cost of camp (which does not include transportation/miscellaneous costs). NO RESERVATIONS NECESSARY FOR LUNCH!
HUNGER IS A MAJOR PROBLEM!
TODAY (this 24 hrs.) 29,000 children will die from hunger, disease and poverty. 15,000 will die from hunger alone. That’s one every six seconds.
What can I do?
Our youth will be observing a 30 hour famine both to emphasize the plight of the hungry in our world, and to raise funds to buy food for the hungry. The famine will be July 25-26 (Friday/Saturday) all night in the Family Life Center. Put it on your schedule and look for details later!
Youth Vacation Bible School
June 22-26 (Sunday through Thursday) for grades 6—12
Grab a paddle and cast off on a tropical adventure. You will discover the stability you need to face a world of shifting sands and wavering opinions. Learn to stand firm on the rock-solid truths that God is real, Jesus is God’s Son, Jesus is the only Way, the Bible is God’s Word, and your actions show what you truly believe.
After joint worship with all ages, our youth will break off into their own area for Unshakeable, which will be followed with a special fun activity each evening. Plan to be there, and start inviting friends!
